Greetings! I just bought a 2nd hand car. I probably know things about home or health insurance, but how can I save on car insurance in Oklahoma?

Always choose the type coverage that is applicable on your situation. Never purchase coverage which is unnecessary. Make sure you make a list of the coverage the car insurance company is offering and select or cross out the ones you think will be pointless to have.

If you think that you are a responsible driver and you live in an area were traffic is minimal, you can take your chances and raise your deductible. By increasing your deductible, expect your car insurance company will give off little help and you can surely save on your premiums. This is a good strategy if you are sure that you have a good financial standing in order to support yourself in an occurrence of an accident.

Also remember that most car insurance company gives discount. Always ask on the different discounts they are offering so you can take advantage of it if you’re eligible for it.
